Theatre of Youth (TOY) is currently seeking a House Manager for the completion of its 2018-19 Season.  This position is part-time.  If you are interested, please review the information and qualifications below and submit your resume and cover letter by January 15 to Managing Director Kevin Leary at

Our remaining shows run Jan. 24 - Feb. 10, March 13 - April 7, and May 2 - June 1.  Public performances are generally on Saturdays and Sundays at 2 pm and school time performances generally take place at 10 am Wednesday - Friday.  House managers are expected to arrive at least one hour before show time to prepare the house for audiences. 

Duties include: managing usher staff, seating, audience management prior to and during performances, coordinating school buses at the theatre, and other duties related to customer service during performances.  The time commitment for one performance is generally 3 – 3.5 hours.  The successful candidate will be easy to work with, have experience in customer service, display an attention to detail, be decisive, and possess superb problem-solving skills.

The position would pay $14/hr.  There is some flexibility (i.e. the selected candidate and managing director would work to craft a schedule that would be mutually acceptable).
